During our work together, we will take special consideration of your needs in terms of space, style, energy and flow. Parallel Design Studios is drawing from years of experience to be the guiding light throughout the entire process. And although, we have much to bring to the table, we really want to hear what YOU think, what YOU feel, what YOU want. Because at the end of the day, YOU have to live there. We just really want you to be happy to be. :)

Our Designs are both INTUITIVE and INTENTIONAL.

A house is just a house. Your home is alive.

In a sense, your home is a physical manifestation of you and the life you live. Every room, every closet, every window, every shelf, represents a part of your life by showcasing your style, attitude, interests or values. In theory, you should WANT to be in any and every space of that house you occupy …right??

Some obstacles to achieving this sense of total belonging or of personal freedom in your home are purely spatial and can be addressed with logic. Others require a more artistic touch. How you choose to style your space, will set the tone and influence how you operate within it. I think we can agree that it would be wise to have clear intentions when choosing your design plan, not to mention, your Designer.

It can control how people operate and move within a setting.
It can cultivate an ambiance or “mood” that is felt and reacted to.
It can induce productivity… or alternatively, promote relaxation.
It has the ability to encourage (or discourage) specific activities.
It can set expectations of behavior.
Essentially, our physical surroundings influence what we feel and how we act. And that’s certainly something not to take lightly… in our humble opinion.
